Rotary Club of Guelph holds health fair for seniors

If you are a “senior” or a senior’s caregiver, now is the time to learn about how to live life better with or in this stage of life.

On June 6, between 10am and 2pm, the Guelph Rotary Club is holding health fair at Riverside Glen.

The community-wide event iincludes three guest speakers and over 20 exhibitors from the community. 

The talks include: Impact of Depression on Memory, Medication Use in Seniors, Keys to Interacting When Someone has Dementia followed by question and answer sessions.

A barbecue lunch (weather permitting) will be available for $3 

Booths and displays represent over 20 local not-for-profit agencies and each booth will have a representative from the agency to answer questions. 

Exhibitors include Alzheimer Society, Arthritis Society, Canadian Hearing Society, CNIB, CCAC (Waterloo/Wellington), County of Wellington Housing, County of Wellington Settlement Services, Diabetes Care Guelph, Evergreen Senior's Centre, Guelph Independent Living, Guelph Wellington Seniors Assoc, Hospice Wellington, Heart & Stroke, Kinesiology (Village of Riverside Glen), MS Society, Osteoporosis Canada, Parkinson Society, St. Joseph’s Driving Assessment, St. Joseph’s Outreach Program, Stroke Recovery Canada, Trellis Seniors at Risk, Trellis Mental Health & DS, Victim Services Wellington.
