Rockwood Sacred Heart Students get lesson in holiday safety
A lesson in fire safety – On Dec. 16 the Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department had students from Rockwood Sacred Heart Catholic School visit the Rockwood Fire Hall for a holiday fire safety information tour.Platoon Chief Rob Crosbie gave students from Sacred Heart a tour of Pumper 21 and the many compartments that carry lifesaving tools, such as the Jaws of Life. A lesson in fire safety – On Dec. 16 the Guelph/Eramosa Fire Department had students from Rockwood Sacred Heart Catholic School visit the Rockwood Fire Hall for a holiday fire safety information tour. Firefighter Jeff Ross demonstrated to students what a firefighter looks like with protective bunker gear on, teaching students not to fear firefighters who may save their lives.
