Rock around the Christmas Tree in Mount Forest on Dec. 6

MOUNT FOREST - Santa Claus is coming to Mount Forest to take part in the annual parade.

The Santa Claus parade here will take place on Dec. 6 starting at 7pm.

This year the Santa Claus parade theme here is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”.

All floats entering will be judged on this years theme for the following: Most Colourful, Biggest and Brightest, Best use of theme,  and Most Unique.

Children are invited to meet with Santa at the Mount Forest Legion from 3 to 5:30pm. Age appropriate gifts for children ages 0 to eight or in  Grade 3 will be handed out by Santa and his elves at the Mount Forest Legion.

Chocolate milk and a chocolate bar will available for the older children. Bring your non-perishable food items to the parade. Santa’s helpers will be collecting donations along the parade route.
