Remembrance Week
Councillors here recently approved a request to declare the week of Nov. 8 to 14 as Remembrance Week.
The request, from Royal Canadian Legion Branch 296, asked that the week be declared “in memory of fallen comrades, and that on Nov. 11, a moment of silence between 10:55am and 11am be observed.”
