Katie Giddy is not about to let illness keep her from helping Habitat for Humanity as it prepares to build a townhouse complex in Fergus. While in hospital receiving treatment, Giddy, left, posted on social media that she needed 100 people to donate $10 each to Habitat. Habitat has a wall that it’s filling with red tiles as donations are made. Giddy raised $2,500 through 97 tile sales and that filled the board. Here Giddy is helped by her daughter Isabelle and Deb Stanton, director of the ReStore.
