Puslinch Santa Claus parade will be a real parade this time – no drive-by
Santa is in high demand this time of year. But he’ll be in Aberfoyle on Nov. 27 for the Puslinch Santa Claus Parade, hosted by the Optimist Club of Puslinch. Advertiser file photo

ABERFOYLE – It will finally be a return to normal as the Optimist Club of Puslinch hosts the 2022 Santa Claus Parade.

The club hosted “drive-by” parades these past few years because of the pandemic.

Floats are to assemble at the Puslinch fire hall at 1pm on Nov. 27 and the parade is set to roll at 2pm.

The theme this year is “Christmas around the World.”

The parade will go west on Wellington Road 34, south on Brock Road, and ends at the Optimist Recreation Centre beside the Puslinch Community Centre.

There will be goody bags for kids, hot dogs and hot chocolate provided by the Optimists, and there’s even the opportunity to visit with Santa at the rec centre.

Children can bring letters for Santa and post them in a mailbox on site.

If return addresses are included, children will receive a written reply from the cheery old elf himself.

Donations for the food bank will be collected by volunteers along the parade route. They can also be left at the rec centre.

Details can be found at https://www.optimistclubofpuslinch.com.
