Public information centre on active transportation and mobility plan on March 4

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The township is developing an Active Transportation and Mobility Plan (ATMP) to support walking, cycling and rolling within the community.

It is holding a public information centre on March 4 from 6 to 8pm at the Elora Centre for the Arts to relay information about the study and collect comments as it develops the plan.

Consultants will present project information to the community at the event, including the key priorities of the ATMP, the proposed solutions for the active transportation network, and active transportation network design considerations.

“This event is an avenue for you to provide your comments and feedback relating to this plan,” states a press release from the township.

“Your input is important in the ATMP process as comments will be considered in the final ATMP to ensure the plan reflects our community’s needs for the current and future population.”

This is the second of three in-person meetings on the project.

Information is also available at ConnectCW, where residents can also leave comments.
