ERIN – An Acton man has been charged with possession of cocaine and driving while suspended after police officers saw him perform a “burnout” with a pickup truck here.

On Oct. 9 at about 11:40pm, Wellington County OPP officers on foot patrol in the area of the Erin Fall Fair witnessed the incident. Police investigated the driver of the pickup truck on English Street.

Stephen Romanoff, 27, of Acton, was charged with stunt driving, driving while suspended and possession of cocaine. He is to appear in Guelph court on Nov. 21.
