Police seek to identify suspect in Minto gas theft

MINTO – Police are looking to identify a suspect in a recent fuel theft here.

Wellington County OPP officials say that on Feb. 10 at about 3pm, officers responded to a report of a theft from a business in Minto.

“It was reported that a person drove off after filling a pickup truck and two jerry cans with fuel,” stated an OPP  press release. Police describe the potential suspect as a Caucasian man aged 30 to 40 who was wearing a black jacket, a grey hoodie, red ball cap, grey jeans, and beige boots. The man was operating a silver, 2007 to 2014, Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
