Police searching for suspect after armed robbery at gas station

Police are investigating an armed robbery early Friday morning at the Greenbush gas bar here.

On July 20 at about 4am Wellington County OPP responded to the gas station, located on Highway 9 between Harriston and Clifford.

“Initial reports indicate that a lone suspect arrived on a motorcycle, entered the gas bar brandishing a shotgun,” police stated in a press release.

“The suspect was last seen travelling northbound on Highway 9 on a [black] sport-styled motorcycle.”

OPP officials say the suspect is described as a white man wearing a black dirk bike-styled helmet with mouth vents, a dark hoodie and blue jeans.
