Police have found Fergus man reported missing

ERIN – Police say they have located a missing 85-year-old Fergus man who was last seen in Erin.

On Nov. 4 at about 5pm, the Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a missing person last observed in the area of Wellington Road 124 and Trafalgar Road in the Town of Erin.

"It's believed that he became disoriented while attempting to drive to an appointment near Fergus. It's believed he is not familiar with the area," police stated in a Nov. 5 press release.

Later the same day, police posted a Tweet saying the man has been located.

"He returned home safely just before 3pm," stated the OPP West Region Twitter account.
