CENTRE WELLINGTON - Emergency services responded to a collision on Aug. 1 which saw four people transported to hospitals and a driver charged after a Kitchener man was pronounced dead at the scene.

MINTO - Police are looking for help to identify the female driver involved in a hit and run here that left a teen cyclist injured.

Wellington County OPP officials say the incident, involving an "older model sedan," took place on Feb. 25 at about 7pm on Wellington Road 6 near Sideroad 7 in the Town of Minto.

"The driver of the sedan stopped briefly and spoke to the injured teenager before getting back in their vehicle," police stated in a press release.

Police say the 14-year-old cyclist was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition.

The vehicle, last seen travelling north on Wellington Road 6, is described as an older model, dark-coloured sedan similar to a Chrysler Neon that will have damage on the front passenger side.

The driver is described as a woman in her 20s with dark hair and glasses.
