Police investigating after SUV crashes into house

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Police are investigating – and looking for possible witnesses – after an SUV went through a stop sign, left the road and crashed into a house here.

On Sept. 21 at about 5am, emergency crews responded to the collision at the “T” intersection of Wellington Roads 26 and 22. Wellington County OPP officials say a black SUV “left the roadway and struck a home.”

The 32-year-old driver of the vehicle (the lone occupant)  was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the collision and asking anyone that may have witnessed it to call 1-888-310-1122.
