Police identify man who died in serious crash involving car, motorcycles
CENTRE WELLINGTON - Emergency services responded to a collision on Aug. 1 which saw four people transported to hospitals and a driver charged after a Kitchener man was pronounced dead at the scene.

PUSLINCH – Police have now identified the man who died in a serious crash here involving four motorcycles and a car.

Giancarlo De-Bartolo, 61, of Guelph, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on July 21 on Wellington Road 35 near Gore Road in Puslinch.

Wellington County OPP officials say four motorcycles were travelling northbound and a sedan was travelling southbound on Wellington Road 35 when the collision occurred.

Three other motorcycle drivers were transported to hospital, one with serious injuries. One of the four occupants of the car was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
