Police beat: Partner violence

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Local police continue to lay intimate partner violence charges across the county.

Those arrested recently include:

– a 41-year-old man from Erin, who was charged with assault in relation to an incident in Erin on Oct. 15; and

– a 26-year-old man from Palmerston, who was charged with uttering threats (to cause death or bodily harm) and failing to comply with a probation order in relation to an incident in Mapleton on Oct. 15.

The accused individuals are to appear in Guelph court at a later date.
