PUSLINCH – On Feb. 12 at about 4:30pm Wellington County OPP responded to a report of break-in at house on Siefert Court here.

Police say officers found the rear door of the residence had been forced open and a number of items stolen, including a safe, passports, foreign currency, four Louis Vuitton handbags, and a quantity of jewelry.

The suspects, who fled the scene in an unknown vehicle prior to police arrival, are described as:

– male, white, thin build, short, 20s, wearing a blue parka with grey fur on the hood, dark blue toque with red trim, baby blue N95 mask, dark blue jeans, black gloves and black shoes; and

– male, thin build, short, wearing a blue parka with grey fur, black hoodie underneath, blue pants with grey gloves and heavy black boots.

Theft from trailer

CENTRE WELLINGTON – On Feb. 14 at about 9am Wellington County OPP received a report of a theft from a locked trailer at a property on Wellington Road 22 here.

Police say the locked trailer was entered sometime between midnight and 6am that day.

“Investigation revealed unknown suspects cut a lock on a fenced gate and a lock on the trailer to gain access,” police stated in a press release.

“A quantity of Milwaukee brand power tools, copper cable, and a welder/generator were stolen.”
