Pole, cornfield damaged
MINTO – On July 19 at about 10am, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of a tractor trailer that left the road and struck a hydro pole along the 6th Line here.
Police say “the hydro pole and the cornfield sustained damage, but the driver of the transport was uninjured.”
A 44-year-old from Clinton was charged with careless driving and is to appear in Guelph court on Oct. 24.
