Palmerston man charged with sexual assault
PALMERSTON - A Palmerston man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident here about two months ago.
On July 17, Wellington County OPP received a report of an alleged sexual assault at a Palmerston residence in June.
On Aug. 5, following what police call a “thorough investigation by the Wellington County OPP Major Crime Unit,” police announced they had charged Evan Leslie Thomas Brumwell, 33, of Palmerston, with sexual assault.
He is to appear in Guelph court on Sept. 3.
