OPP seek help with brazen vehicle theft at gas station

Police are looking to identify the man responsible for stealing a vehicle from a customer at a gas station on Wellington Road 109 here.

On Oct. 6 at about 5:15am Wellington County OPP responded to the gas-bar, where “a patron had left their vehicle and keys unattended when an unknown male entered the vehicle and drove away with it.”

The vehicle, a 2013 Ford Focus sedan, was located on Oct. 8 near William Street in Palmerston.

OPP are asking the public to help identify a man (in photo on left) who may have been involved in the theft.

“A potential accomplice was operating a dark 2005-2012 Chevrolet Equinox,” police say.
