OPP respond to early morning robbery
CENTRE WELLINGTON - On May 15, at approximately 5:00am, Wellington County OPP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a residence on Sideroad 15 near Wellington Road 19, Centre Wellington Township.
It was reported that three suspects entered the residence and confronted the occupants armed with a handgun. The suspects stole household items including electronics.
All three suspects were described as males with in their teens or early twenties. They were wearing dark clothing.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle in an unknown direction.
There were no reported injuries to the victims.
OPP uniform officers, with the assistance of the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit are continuing to investigate this incident.
