OPP looking for man who stole cash, phone from business

ROCKWOOD – Police are looking for the man responsible for stealing cash and a cell phone form a business here last week.

SUSPECT

On May 19, Wellington County OPP responded to a business on Alma Street in Rockwood. Police say that at about 10:30am that day, the suspect entered the business posing as a customer, entered the office area and stole a black iPhone and about $1,000 in cash from an unlocked safe.

The suspect, who was caught on surveillance footage, is described as a Caucasian male in his mid- to late-20s, about six feet tall with a slim build, hair shaved on the side, and wearing a black and white hoodie. He was last seen fleeing in a Red Mazda 3 hatchback travelling eastbound on Highway 7.
