OPP investigating fatal crash near Mount Forest on Saturday night
WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash here on Saturday night that left one person dead.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 6 southwest of Mount Forest, on Aug. 5 at about 10pm.
Police say the lone occupant of the vehicle "suffered serious injuries" and "was pronounced deceased at scene."
OPP officials did not say where the person is from or provide any other details.
Wellington Road 6 was closed between Highway 89 and Lovers Lane through most of the night.
