One vehicle crashes into house, another ends up on a front lawn

PALMERSTON – On Nov. 13 at about 7:30pm, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a collision on Main Street in Palmerston involving a vehicle crashing into a house.

“It was further reported that the vehicle left the scene and became disabled on Queen Street shortly thereafter,” police stated in a press release.

Police say officers located the vehicle and arrested the male driver.

Justin Christopher McPherson, 24, of Cambridge, was charged with driving with more than 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood in his system. He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.

FERGUS – On Nov. 14 at about 10:20pm, Wellington County OPP officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle on the front lawn of a residence on Gartshore Street in Fergus with the driver slumped over the steering wheel.

Andrew Glenn Crichton, 29, of Georgetown, was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mg. He is to appear in Guelph court at a later date.

In the above incidents the driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for seven days
