One person dead after vehicle enters ditch
CENTRE WELLINGTON – One person is dead after a vehicle went into a ditch here on Wednesday morning.
Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 7 south of Elora, on March 1 at about 8:15am.
"The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital for reasons unrelated to the collision, where they were pronounced deceased," police stated in a press release.
A portion of Wellington Road 7 was closed following the incident, but has since re-opened.
"The Office of the Chief Corner for Ontario is continuing to investigate and all further inquiries should be directed to their office," stated police.
