Obituary

Marion Louise Young lived her life with a true and honest strength, deep love, and extraordinary grace. Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew her. She was the heart of her family: a devoted wife to Howard, a wise and nurturing mother to her five children, Catherine, Gordon, Stephen, Christine and Laura and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a deeply honest and compassionate soul, and her warmth touched everyone she met. She lived a long life rich in meaning, raising her children with patience and humour, volunteering selflessly at all local organizations, and building a home that was always open, joyful, and full of animals. Her saucy nature, her stories, her hearty laugh and the way she made each person feel are irreplaceable. We mourn not just her absence, but the quiet, steady light she brought to our lives—one that will never be forgotten.
