WOLSTENHOLME, Robert “Rob” James

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rob Wolstenholme, who passed peacefully at home on November 15, 2025, at the age of 65 years, surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Lynne. Proud dad of Jason, Lori and Bryan, Brandy and Florin, Steven and Vanessa. Cherished Papa of Madison, Evan, Mikayla, Keira; Caitlyn, Brody; Ellie, Tristan; Iver and Alice. Survived by his parents Jean and (the late Jim), sisters Donna and Cora. Rob was known for his unwavering dedication, generous spirit, and deep love for his family. Spending time with family, whether at the cottage, at home or on vacation, brought him the greatest joy. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and cottaging, and there was always a project underway wherever he went. He was the best husband, Dad, Papa, and friend anyone could hope for. Rob was the proud owner and President of Clarke Roller & Rubber Ltd. as well as Britannia Rubber Mfg. Rob poured his heart and soul into every aspect of the business. His leadership, integrity, and commitment earned him the admiration of colleagues, employees, and clients alike. To many, he was not only a respected professional, but also an exceptional leader, mentor, and friend. Rob brought warmth and laughter into every room, sharing his wonderful sense of humour with everyone he met. His legacy will live on in all who knew and loved him. Rob’s passing leaves an empty space not only within his family but also among his treasured friends from Jumping Caribou Lake. The lake was one of his happiest places, where stories were shared, fish were caught, and friendships deepened over many years. Rob also treasured his hunt camp, where he spent 45 years making memories with his hunting and fishing buddies; friends who became extended family and who will forever remember his steady presence, his campfire stories, and his attention to detail. A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 21, 2025 from 12-3pm with words of remembrance at 1pm at The GrandWay Events Centre, 7445 Wellington County Road 21, Elora. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Samantha for her exceptional care and compassion shown to Dad. Arrangements entrusted to Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira.
