WHEELER, Douglas Arthur

March 31, 1949 - May 19, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our loving husband, father, ‘’Buppa,’’ Douglas Wheeler. Doug passed away peacefully, at home on Monday, May 19th, 2025. He was formerly a resident of Dorchester. He was a dedicated employee of EECF, Tillsonburg for over 20 years. Much loved husband of 43 years of Rebecca Lynne (Smith) Wheeler. Loved and loving father and father-in-law of: Meaghan and Brad Lindsay, Green’s Corners and Kathryn Wheeler, B.C. Proud Buppa of Mac Lindsay, brother of Joyce Dudley and Donald Wheeler, brother-in-law of Phil and Jane Smith, Greg and Sharon Smith, Michele and late Brian Englehart. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Doug will be missed by many friends and his colleagues at East Elgin Concrete Forming. We will ‘’see you in the movies’’ buddy boy. In keeping with Doug’s expressed wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment later in the family plot in Cowal McBridge Cemetery. Friends and relatives were welcome to attend a Celebration of Life for Doug on Saturday, May 24, 2025, between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at the Bridges Golf Course, 101 John Pound Road, Tillsonburg.
