Of Palmerston and formerly of Orangeville passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, on December 24, 2025 in is 91st year. Beloved husband of Audrey Barbara (nee Jones) Taylor for 70 years. Loving father of Melanie Barbara and her husband Glenn Gillespie of Orillia and the late Marsha Grace Taylor (2019). Dear Grandfather of Nicole Grace of Hamilton, Alissa and Kevin Witlox of Hawkestone and Taylor and Amelia Gillespie of Wyoming, Ontario. Cherished great grandfather of Henry, Violet and Isla. Brother of Arthur Taylor and his wife Marion of Grand Valley, Jim Taylor and his wife Edith of Markdale, Joyce and her husband Don Dube of Mississauga, Gail Taylor of Guelph and Ken Taylor and his wife Cindy of Orangeville. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Stella (Dynes) Taylor by one sister Shirley Jean in infancy, brother Ray Taylor and his wife Joyce and brother-in-law Paul Taylor. The family received friends at the Listowel Baptist Church, on Monday December 29, 2025 from 10:00 to 10:45am followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. Spring interment Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville. In lieu of flowers donations to Listowel Baptist Church or Fair Havens Camp and Conference Centre would be appreciated by the family.
