Andrew Cameron Smyth passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the age of 81, surrounded by the love of his family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Andrew was the devoted and beloved husband of Denise, and a loving father to Dale (Kathy), Cheryl, and Gary (Amy). He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Trevor (Libby), Ryan (Britney), Kristen (Rene), Alina, and Elliott, and a treasured great-grandfather to Jacob and Addison. Andrew will be remembered with deep love by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was predeceased by his mother, Marjorie; his father, Dale; and his sister, Carol. Andrew’s kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family, friends, and neighbours. Always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, he was a true jack-of-all-trades and could fix just about anything. He especially loved having his family gathered for barbecues and holidays, occasions made even more memorable by his famous baked buns, which everyone looked forward to. A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
