Obituary

Reba Christina Shultis (nee McNabb) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Hospice Wellington in Guelph, Ontario, Saturday November 15, 2025. Reba was born and raised on the McNabb farm in Eramosa Township. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Harvey and her infant daughter Valerie. Also predeceased by her parents John Douglas and Margaret and her siblings Jamie (Marg), Neil (Alice), Anna and Muriel, her brother in law Chuck (Fern) and sisters-in laws Evelyn (Ab) and Marg (Norm) whom she loved dearly. Reba is survived by her loving sons Steve(Patsy), Paul(Janet) and John. Gramma Reba was deeply loved and will be missed by her grandchildren Melissa (Jay), Tammy, Christine (Andrew), Beth (Aaron), David (Chinza), Jacob (Echo) and James; and by her great grandchildren Emery, Rylan, Elliot and Otis. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and close neighbours, as well as extended family across Canada, for whom the door was always open and an extra place was set at the table. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Hospice Wellington and the Guelph General Hospital for the comfort and dignity they provided in their care for Reba. As a nurse, Reba would have been impressed and appreciative of the support given to families and their loved ones during this most difficult time. Our family will be forever grateful. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
