Samuel, Walter Keith; Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Effie Samuel (2008). Dear father of David and Betty-Anne Samuel, Charmayne and Don Crow, Gina-Marie and Brian Henry and Jack Samuel (1981). Loving grandpa of Jennifer and Geoff Reed, Aaron and Cheryl Brunkard, Chris and Dana Samuel, Kevin Samuel, Derek and Wendy Brunkard, Jeffrey Henry and Justin Henry. Proud great grandpa of Bryan Brunkard and Peter Brunkard. Survived by sisters-in-law Dorothy (Ivan) Fair and Norma (Vernon) McLean. Predeceased by son-in-law Bryan Brunkard and two brothers Ross and Allan, both killed overseas in 1944. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Gordonville on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11am. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Gordonville would be greatly appreciated by the family.
