ROBSON, Sigrid Elizabeth (née Menning) – January 2, 1943 – September 28, 2018. Sigrid passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph at the age of 75. Sigrid will be lovingly remembered by her husband and best friend of 52 years, John, and her children, Ian (Sarah), Stephen (Tricia), and Karen (Dave). She will be fondly remembered as Oma by her seven grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Noah, Liam, Paige, Cadence, and Ben. Sigrid will be sadly missed by her sister, Gerhilde (George) Klosler, her brother, Dietmar Menning, and her many extended family members and friends. Many thanks to the staff of St. Joe’s Health Centre for their nurturing care over the last year and a half. A memorial service to honour and celebrate Sigrid will be held on Sunday, October 14 at 1:00pm at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St. W., Fergus. A visitation for friends and family will also be held on the 14th at St. Andrew’s from 2 – 4pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel.
