Of Drayton/Palmerston passed away on November 14, 2025 in his 94th year. Loving husband, best friend and business partner of Heritage Funeral Homes Inc. with Mary Thompson-Roberts (nee Schieck) for 42 Years. Loved step-father and grandfather to Kenneth Thompson and his wife Krista, their children Shaelyn Thompson and Tanner Brugmans, Keagan Thompson and Haylie Smith; Steven Thompson and his wife Christine Stanley; the late Robert Thompson (2023) his wife Nancy and son Tyler. Vic and Mary have a special extended family who have many fond memories of Vic and they will miss him dearly. Kathy and Steve Kirkham, their children Brittany and Frank Deen, Rachael, Blake and Janelle; Stephany and Kris Jamieson their children Aubrey and Asher; Josh and Kayla Kirkham and Chad Kirkham; Debbie and Keith McIntosh and their family, Lorrie and Charlie Spaling and their family and Anna Marie Toner and her family. Brother-in-law of Tom and Yvonne Schieck and Nancy Campbell. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Harold Udy, Joy and Sam Armstrong, Myrna and Bill Cherry, Bruce and Margaret Schieck and Clare and Judy Schieck. Vic had a love for live theatre and thanks to Alex Mustakas he was able to enjoy preforming on many of the Drayton Entertainment stages over the years. To honour the contribution and ties to the Palmerston and Drayton Communities where Vic served families he will be resting in both Palmerston and Drayton Funeral Homes. The family will receive family and friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 2:00 and 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm and Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton from 2:00 and 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm followed by a private family.
