Of Palmerston passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Joe Riff for 63 years. Loving mother of Randy Riff and Janice Graham of Fergus, Greg Riff and Annette Vanderheyden of Guelph, Barry Riff of London and Terry Riff of Guelph. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Riff, Derrick and Nicole Riff; Connor Riff, Josh Riff. Sister-in-law of Donna and Floyd Schieck of Drayton, Shirley and Ron Lewis of Guelph, Joanne Riff of Burlington, Lorna Shuert of Welland and Barb of B.C. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Orville and Blanche Shuert, brothers Don Shuert and Sheldon Shuert and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Leonard Riff and Brian and Brenda Riff. A special thanks to the staff of Caressant Care Nursing Home for their care and support. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Drayton on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11:30am. Spring interment in Drayton Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or the PSP Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
