PUKAROWSKI, Mary Vera – Passed away, peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, with her family at her side, on Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Mary Vera (nee Lea), in her 87th year, was predeceased by her husband Jan (May 30, 2004). She was the dear mother of Tony (Donna), Vivian (Ralph Lucchese), Joe (Laurie) and Matt (Ida). Mary was the proud grandma of Amanda (Paul Hauck), Brittany, Melina (Joe Finnigan), Lyn (Nelson Aguiar), Corey (Marisa), Amber (Shawn Bauman), Kyle, Sloane (Barry Reuber), Bethany, Louis, Logan, Gabriel, William and Dakota. Mary was the very proud great-grandma of Eldon. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Mary” to Anthony, Samantha, Quintin and Maria and known as “Nanni” to Massimo. Mary is survived by her siblings Ula (late John) Chessum, Fred (Hetty) Lea and Albert (Jill) Lea and by three sisters-in-law Margaret, Janice and Doreen. She was predeceased by siblings Irene Lea, John Lea, George Lea, Frances Hawes and Tom Lea.Friends were invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, on Friday, August 7, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., the Rev. Brad Inglis officiating. Interment, Memory Gardens, Breslau.
