NODWELL, Ronald Douglas – After a courageous and hard fought battle, Ron passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015, at the age of 69. Cherished husband and friend to Bonnie (Sinclair) for 47 years. Loving father of Brett (Meridith), Jason (Tricia) and Brooke. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Braeden and Merissa. Greatly missed by his sisters, Judy, Anna (Tom) Fawdry, Marcia (Larry) Hebert, Shelley and Valerie, as well as many other family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents Doug and Nettie (Till) and brother Robert. Special thanks to Dr. Kottachchi, the London University transplant team and “his” wonderful nurses in Ambulatory Care at the Guelph General. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. A service to celebrate Ron’s life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 801-3100 Steeles Ave. E., Markham, ON L3R 8T3 or the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital, 115 Delhi St., Guelph, ON N1E 4J4 would be appreciated.
