MILLEY, Douglas Richard; Passed away at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the age of 74 years. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Karen (nee Howie) for over 57 years. Proud father of Diane (Mathew Trahearn), Scott (Susan), Brian (Helen), Linda (Condren Berry), David (Terri-Lee) and Brenda (Jason). Devoted Grandpa of fifteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marjorie Hofstetter, the late Joan Garness (Ralph) and Doug’s late twin sister, Gloria Plume (Roy). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and in laws in the Milley and Howie families and many friends. Visitors called at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph (from 12 – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4). Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. and a reception followed in the Trillium Room of the funeral home. Doug was laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
