Obituary

In Loving Memory of Toni (Antonia) McNaught, born in Roosendaal in the Netherlands, peacefully passed away at St Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph at the age of 81.  Forever loved and missed by her children, Jeff and Jennifer, along with her siblings: Adrian (Becky), Kit (Joanne), and Clara (Bernie) and her sisters-in-law, Shirley, Carla (Bruce), and Angie.  Dearly loved and missed by her nieces and nephews, our extended family in the Netherlands and PEI as well as her dear friends. Predeceased by her parents: Mathias and Corry Raetsen, and her siblings: Catharina, Joe, Hank, and Jeanneke.  Also predeceased by her husband, George. Mom loved her books, listening to music, crocheting, and gardening. But above all things, she loved her family with everything she had.  Spending time with us, listening, supporting, laughing, and just being there every time we needed her. We want to thank her entire care team at St Joseph’s for their compassion and support throughout these last three years. There are not enough words to express how much we appreciate you and all that you do to care for people’s loved ones. We felt how much she meant to you. Thank you. Cremation will be taking place. A private family celebration will take place in the spring.
