Passed away peacefully in his 101st year, after a brief illness at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Clinton is survived by his sons Allan (Holly) and Dan (Colleen), and grandchildren, Chris (Christina), Danielle (Ben) and Brianna (Garth), as well as great grandchildren Lindsay, Adalynn, Emerson and Bennett, and sister Shirley (Jim) Shaw. Clint will also be missed by his fur friends, Duke and Petey. He is predeceased by his wife Anna (2024), sister Bettie (Cam) Pryde and parents Roy and Minnie, and step-mother Irma. Clinton was born and raised on the family farm in West Garafraxa Township. He married Anna in 1947 and together they farmed until their retirement in 1977. They then moved to Elora where they enjoyed another 40+ years of entertaining, card games and dancing on Saturday nights at the Elora Legion and other locations nearby. A graveside service was held at Elora Municipal Cemetery, 367 South St., Elora, on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:00am. A reception followed at Knox Presbyterian Church, 51 Church St E., Elora. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Knox Presbyterian or Groves Memorial Community Hospital will be appreciated by the family.
