HUGHES, Robert George; beloved husband of Myrna Hughes of Calgary, formerly of Fergus, Ontario passed away with his family at his side on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Bob is survived by Myrna, his loving wife and best friend for 45 years, son Rob (Amy) of Calgary, and daughter Kimberly of Toronto. Proud Grandpa to Zoe; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy and Jim Chute, nephew and niece Eric and Nicole; and best buddy to his furry pal, Farley. We will dearly miss his jokes and sense of humour, as will all who knew Bob with one ‘O’! At Bob’s request, a private family service was held and a Celebration of Life and burial will be held in Ontario at a future date. In memory of Bob, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Cancer Society of Canada or your local Humane Society.
