HOOVER, Heather Anne (nee Whitehead) August 4th, 1956 to June 4th, 2015. Heather Hoover of Clifford passed away on June 4th at the Owen Sound Hospital at the age of 58. She was the beloved wife of the late Tony Hoover; cherished daughter of Ethel and the late Glenn Whitehead of Clifford; and sister of Kitty and Joe Stone (Lindsay), Donna and Fred Bolger (Durham), Bonnie (Clifford), Tammie (Hanover), Stan and Marcie (Durham); fondly remembered by nephews and nieces Brandon and Jodie, Kimberly, Charissa, Amy, Zoey, John, Glenn, and great nieces Peyton and Ella. Heather spent most of her life cooking at the Four Aces and Redwood restaurants.Heather and Tony were married on September 27th, 1997 at their home in Clifford. Throughout her life, Heather enjoyed hosting family gatherings, reading novels, shopping with her mother, playing trivial pursuit at her brother’s restaurant, and caring for her great nieces. Growing health concerns uncovered a problem with her thyroid and a diagnosis of cancer. She chose to live every remaining day to its fullest focusing her energies on her family. Cancer took her away too soon. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Internment at Bethesda Community Cemetery near Moorefield.
