Obituary

Wayne passed peacefully with family and friends by his side on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the age of 67 at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Survived by his children Bryan (Jenn), Nick (Jacquelin, Benjamin) and Emily (Jacob). Son of the late Jack and Peggy Hillyer. Dearly missed by his siblings, Jack (Jan), Elaine (Ray), Annette (Ox), Mandy (Kerry), David, and the late Michael. He will be sadly missed by extended family and friends. Dear lifelong friend of Dave and Cathy Corbett. He touched the lives of many with his humour and was a devoted friend. Thank you to the staff at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place, and an interment will follow at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
