HENDERSON, Gerald Alexander Richard

February 21, 1940 - January 26, 2025

Gerry Henderson a man who lived life to the fullest, passed away peacefully at his home in Wasaga Beach accompanied by the love of his life, Debbie. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and a life well-lived. Gerry was a devoted life companion to Debbie Langdon. He was a loving Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, and Great Uncle. Gerry is survived by his children Kathleen, Kim (Dick), Sherry (son Brandon), Sandy (daughter Shelby), and Gerry Jr. (Jennifer and daughters Keirsten and Jessica). Gerry is survived also by Debbie’s daughters, Laurie (son Mitchell), Lisa, (Lino and children Sydney and Owen), Chris (Karl), and Tammy (Bill and son Joshua (Cadence and their son Finnegin), daughter Jessica). Gerry will be dearly missed by them so very much. He cherished his time with his family and leaves them with many treasured memories. Gerry is survived by his brother, Ken (Liz and their children Matthew, Jacob (Nicole and daughter Ella and son Ethan), and Rebecca). He was predeceased by his parents Maude and Thomas Henderson of Honeywood, ON and his sister, Anne (Vic and surviving daughters Michelle (son Adam and Daughter Piper), and Natasha (Greg and daughters Olivia, Charlotte, and Emily). Gerry wasn’t one to sit still. He was a doer, a man of action, and his life reflected that. From commercial waste disposal and roll-off services to farming and landscaping, Gerry approached every endeavour with a commitment to excellence. He put his all into everything he did, leaving a mark of quality, professionalism, and a great sense of humour wherever he went. Gerry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His vibrant spirit and tireless work ethic will be remembered with a Celebration of Life held in the spring. Donations in his memory may be made to Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
