Of Arthur and formerly of Orchardville, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in his 66th year. Loving father of Jake (Kaitlin), Breanna (Ryan), and Keaton (Mirary). Grandpa to Logan, Sadie, Connor, Ava, and Hannah. Brother of Dennis (Lorri) Grein. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and their families. Beloved son of the late Jacob (1989) and Phyllis Grein (2016). Predeceased by his brother Daryl Grein (1974) and sister Stacey Grein (1974). Jeff grew up working in the family business, Grein’s Feedmill, where he spent many years alongside his father, Jake. Whether he was slugging feedbags or out on the mobile, Jeff took pride in a hard day’s work and was always ready to lend a hand. His strong work ethic and down-to-earth nature made him a familiar and well-liked presence in the community. Later in life, Jeff worked at Domingos Meat Packers in Arthur, where he became affectionately known as “Grinder” by locals — a nickname that reflected both his role and the fondness people had for him. Jeff had a deep love for sports and community. In his younger years, he helped form the Orchardville baseball team and enjoyed many games with teammates and friends. In the colder months, he was just as eager to get on the ice, playing broomball with the same spirit and camaraderie he brought to everything he did. Jeff had a heart as big as his spirit—always quick to lend a hand, no matter the time or place. He was the kind of person who would give you his last cent without hesitation and never turned away someone in need. Jeff’s memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest, on Thursday, October 23rd from 7:00-9:00pm. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 24th at 11:00am, with visitation from 10:00-10:45am.
