FRISBY, John

FRISBY, John – It is with sadness the family announces John’s passing on January 18, 2017 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, after a brief illness. John is missed and remembered by his wife, Janet, his daughter and granddaughter, Michelle and Eliott of New Zealand, his niece, Lesley (Brad) of Australia, his nephew, Paul (Wendy) of UK and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leonard and Colleen of Guelph, as well as his many friends here and abroad. Trained as an architect in England, John worked in the UK and overseas. When his Parkinson’s Disease prevented him from practising, he began painting and teaching art, successfully exhibiting his work in the UK and here in Guelph and Fergus. A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 519-822-0051 or  www.wallcustance.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society, Cancer Society, Hospice Wellington or Groves Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend their grateful thanks to Dr. Jafferjee and team, as well as the medical, nursing and support staff at Groves Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care of John over the last month.
