Gordon was born on May 19, 1933, and predeceased by the love of his life and dear wife Bernice (2021), parents Donald Dunk (1973) and Jessie (Flewelling) Dunk (1984). Gordon and Bernice were married on June 1, 1957, at Elora United Church. Gordon and Bernice raised a family of five children on their farm on Jones Baseline. Gordon was the loving father of Wanda, Floyd (Jackie), Dale (Susan), Jessie (Chris) and Brian (Mona). Gordon and Bernice spearheaded the creation of what has now become Dunk Farms, a dairy and swine operation near Guelph. Gordon always went above and beyond for his family and friends. He was a caring parent, loving partner, tireless farmer, and a great friend. Gordon was well respected and a pillar in the community even up until his passing. He enjoyed being on many committees and planning/participating at the church euchre parties. Gordon held his church in high regard and spent countless years as Sunday School Superintendent, Elder, and Trustee. Barrie Hill United Church in its entirety was at the centre of his values. He greatly enjoyed his relationships with his friends at Speedside United Church as well.
