Margaret Ann (Brydon) Dickieson of Harriston passed away peacefully at Palmerston Hospital on Monday, December 29, 2025, in her 81st year. Margie was born in Guelph on September 26, 1945 to Mary and Walter Brydon. Beloved wife of Gordon Dickieson for the past 58 years. Mother of Raymond & Darlene Dickieson of Palmerston, and Adam & Denise Dickieson of Elmira, and grandmother of Jordan Dickieson & Hannah Weiler and Brydon Dickieson & Kalvin Arjune. Sister-in-law of Larry & Mary Dickieson of Palmerston, Rob Dickieson of Ingersol, and Ross Clarkson of Guelph. Loved also by many cherished nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Reginald Simpson, and Robert (Marg) Simpson, and by her sister Sandra Clarkson. Margie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She found joy in singing, dancing, and helping others. Many remember Margie as the Public Health Nurse who gave immunizations in the schools. She served her community with care and compassion. A dedicated gardener, Margie lovingly tended God’s creations, serving as a faithful steward of the land with a special gift for helping plants—and people—thrive. She will be deeply missed, and her legacy of kindness has left an enduring mark on the world. Visitation is being held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00pm Her funeral service is being held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 1:00pm with reception that followed.
