AMOS, George Cameron, 74, of Cambridge passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, April 30, 2016. George was a Barrister and Solicitor who had a law office at 276 Frederick Street, Kitchener for many years until retiring, due to failing health in 2015. He was born at Guelph on May 13, 1941, a son of the late George “Walter” Amos and the former “Wanda” Frances Elliott. He is survived by his wife, the former Wilhelmina “Willie” Mulder whom he married at Stratford on December 7, 1968; four children, Jennifer Amos-Harrison and husband Todd Harrison of Elora, Robert and wife Kelly Amos of Peterborough, James and wife Sandra Amos of Hamilton, Thomas and fiancée Andrea Rowe of Guelph; four grandchildren, Talia Harrison, Chloe Harrison, Cameron Amos and Amelia Amos; his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Douglas Thomas of Mississauga; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Renie and Bert Brand of Exeter; his brother-in-law, William Mulder of Toronto. He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Florence Mulder. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Meg Masterson will officiate. Interment in Elora Cemetery.
