Aldridge, Thomas James; Passed away peacefully on April 2nd at the Groves Memorial Hospital in his 84th year. He leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth of 57 years. Thomas will be sadly missed by his children Duncan (Marie), Yvonne (Craig), Thomas Jr. and Brenda (Jim). He also leaves behind many loving grandchildren and close friends. Thomas was decorated by the Queen of England for bravery in the “Yangtse incident” of 1948 and is a retired Police Officer of 31 years with the Metropolitan Toronto Police force. Visitation was held at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus, on Monday, April 9th from 2-4 and 7-9pm and the service was held on Tuesday, April 10th at 12:30pm in the funeral home chapel.
