NWHC reports balanced budget
The North Wellington Health Care board has received confirmation that audited 2011/12 year end finances are balanced. Several ingredients fall into the mix each year, and matching the demands with the resources available is always a challenge. The Annual General Meeting on June 21 will include further review of the results and provide an annual report to the community.
The NWHC board approved the submission of the 2012/13 Hospital Annual Planning Document (HAPS) to the Waterloo Wellington LHIN. The board anticipates that without a base increase in funding the hospital will again aim to balance operations.
